1. Who We Are

EnergyIQ is operated by Aurenix AI Inc ("Company", "we", "us"), 951 Brickell Ave #2800, Miami, FL 33131, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. What We Collect

• Account data: email address, password (hashed), and subscription status.
• Project data you provide: location, roof or system details, tariff selections, and similar inputs you enter for analysis.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: pages visited and features used, to improve the product.

3. How We Use It

• To operate your account and process subscriptions.
• To generate the analyses and reports you request.
• To send service emails (receipts, security notices, product updates). Marketing emails are opt-in and every one includes an unsubscribe link.

4. What We Never Do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your project data to train public AI models.

5. Processors

We use vetted third-party processors: Stripe (payments), email delivery providers (transactional email), and cloud hosting (AWS / Vultr). Each processes data only on our instructions under contractual confidentiality obligations.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Project data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years).

7. Your Rights

• GDPR (EEA/UK): access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection; complain to your local supervisory authority. Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest in securing/improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, and correct your personal information; opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell personal information); no discrimination for exercising rights.
• All users: email us (see Section 9) and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security and Children

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. EnergyIQ is not directed to children under 13 (16 under GDPR), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
